The Animator and the Seat is FINALLY finished!

I'd rather you check out this version of the movie -- even though its 200 megs, it is bigger and much, much clearer in quality. If you don't have time (or the web connection) for that, check out the 12 meg divx version. ([link] for the codec).
I've spent more than a year slaving over this bad boy, so I hope you enjoy. This is my senior thesis for graduation at Ringling College of Art and Design. (yes, they changed their name.) Currently, The Animator and the Seat has been accepted into the Siggraph 2007 Animation Theater and is being judged for other film festivals.
hahaha that was absolutely awesome!
I liked the lighting the animation and everything.Very Pro looking dude,
the movements of the multiple chairs looking at the animator really reminded me of pixar/disney, just rly had that feel to it.I'm sure you're going to make it in that biz!
Just a leagal note for you, if you put animation online for the public to see it can be disqualafied from animation awards, like the oscars // We dont no why but its ture

Wow. Been a long time waiting for this one, and I gotta tell ya, it was worth the wait. Really great job. You can't help but feel sorry for the poor animator.
Great job, I am completely satisfied. Although it dosen't quite hold true to the original 2d version's (this one is still much better) style and bouncy fight with the chair, it added its own undertones that really made me love the movie. Only thing that bothered me was his stomache, and even that was still awesome. Great job, I'm glad you finished. I'd love to see this is The Animation Show 08. Just a thought

I bet you developed quite the relationship to your own chair while making this animation as well.
